Tickets for the reunion night in Palace Barracks Cinema are extremely limited, with tickets going on sale on July 18 on Powderfinger’s website.
Released in July 2003, the band had great success with its fifth album Vulture Street, winning the ARIA Music Award for Best Rock Album that year.

In a statement about the reissuing, the band said: ‘Vulture Street was a return to our rock ‘n’ roll roots.
‘After months and months on the road performing to bigger crowds on bigger stages in bigger rooms all around the world, we were starting to feel the effects that this kind of touring had on the way we were performing.’
Guitarist Daren Middleton shared his excitement on Instagram, writing: ’20yrs since this album! Where does the time go.
‘I still remember plugging in, cranking the volume and all of us recording the beds to these songs in the same studio room.’
