Peugeot is updating its 208 and electric E-208 hatchback with a sharper new design, new powertrains and technologies across both variants.
Arriving later this year, it promises sportier looks, an enhanced digital i-Cockpit, a battery-only range of 248 miles, new hybrid 100 and 136 engines and the latest-generation of infotainment systems.
Update: The 208 was Europe’s best-selling car in 2021 and 2022 and Peugeot says the updates are to ensure it stays there
The 208 was Europe’s best-selling car in 2021 and 2022 and Peugeot says the updates are to ensure it stays there. Orders open in October.
More than a million 208s have been sold since launch at the end of 2019.
This was boosted by sales of the all-electric version which last year became the best-selling electric car in its segment across Europe.
Prices for the current line-up start from £20,610 for the 208 and £31,595 for the e-208. So haggle hard for deals as dealers seek to shift existing stock to make room.
