A glamorous Sydney hairdresser whose gangland lover was executed in bed beside her six years ago is allegedly being stalked from behind bars by a man accused in a murder conspiracy.

Fatima Hage, 30, is the protected person in an Apprehended Violence Order police slapped on a 35-year-old inmate at Silverwater’s Metropolitan Remand jail last week, also charging him with stalking and intimidating Ms Hage.

The accused is awaiting trial over an alleged shooting which shocked Sydney last year.

He is charged with five alleged crimes involving firearms, shooting and conspiracy to murder.

NSW Raptor Squad police arrested the man at Silverwater prison earlier this month and charged him with stalking Ms Hage and causing her fear of physical or mental harm from behind bars in March this year.

Ms Hage last week revealed she is suing NSW Police for trauma and PTSD following the assassination shooting of her lover Kemel ‘Blackie’ Barakat’ as she lay beside him in 2017.

Ms Hage and Kemel ‘Blackie’ Barakat were in bed in Mortlake, in the city’s south, about 2.30am on March 10, 2017 when assassins burst into his unit and executed him in a hail of bullets.

Ms Hage is also suffering after a $400,000 Lamborghini Huracan rented by her current boyfriend was torched on a street in Olympic Park, in western Sydney, with the 724 Coupe erupting in flames at 2.30 am.

Police are searching for two people who were seen carrying jerry cans moments before the blaze broke out, causing the the vehicle to melt on the road.

Fatima Hage’s lawsuit against police and the state is reportedly seeking millions for ‘illegal detainment and putting her life in danger’.

At the time of Kemel Barakat’s murder, Ms Hage was unaware of his background and thought she’d met the love of her life.

During the 2020 trial of Barkat’s one-time friend, Ahmed Jaghbir, at the New South Wales Supreme Court on a charge of being an accessory before the fact to murder, Ms Hage was cross-examined and accused of somehow being involved.

Jaghbir was found guilty of handing the killers of 29-year-old Barakat a key to his unit block after recently helping ‘Blackie’ fix his front door, which police had smashed down.

A judge found the evidence Ms Hage gave during trial was ‘honest’ and ‘very largely consistent’ and said ‘it was difficult to imagine the horror of what she experienced that night. She thought she was about to be killed, too.’
