Footage shared on Saturday shows the caravan flipped on the road along with the towing car
Footage shows the caravan completely flipped with the car towing the caravan turned on its side.
‘The driver of the four-wheel-drive had many years towing experience but this was his first trip with the new van,’ the post read.
‘The driver and his wife were rushed to hospital, luckily were okay and made full recoveries.’
Two cars reportedly stopped to help the people in the caravan however one other car allegedly stopped to film the accident before driving away.
Clayton’s Towing alleged another person filmed the accident before driving off again
‘Thumbs down to the driver of the truck and wood chipper who video’d the roll over with his phone, posted it online within minutes, but drove around the wreckage and didn’t stop,’ Clayton’s Towing wrote under the video.
‘It is disappointing to watch.’
According to Clayton’s Towing, the fact that the caravan was new as well as it not having the correct weight distribution could have contributed to the accident.
The video was viewed more than 199,000 times since it was posted Saturday afternoon.
