Boris Johnson’s father has touched down in Australia for his stint on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Stanley Johnson, 77, was spotted at Brisbane Airport this morning and told reporters he was ‘excited’ about joining a host of stars in the jungle.
The former MEP will be sharing a camp with celebs including boxer Amir Khan, Saturdays’ singer Vanessa White and Coronation Street actress, Jennie McAlpine.

While Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo, actor Jamie Lomas, former footballer Dennis Wise, 50, and YouTube vlogger Jack Maynard, 22, will also join him Down Under.
It is believed that ITV producers hope that Mr Johnson, who was Conservative MP for Wight & Hampshire East 1979 to 1984, will provoke political debate with other campers, reports the Mirror.

In the run-up to the referendum, Mr Johnson, also father to journalist Rachel and Tory MP Jo, repeatedly attacked the foreign secretary’s stance on Brexit, saying staying in the bloc was crucial for stopping climate change.
But he later backed leave after claiming a recent speech by the European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker convinced him the EU was moving ‘at an ever-increasing speed in a direction we really don’t want to go’.
