Greta appeared in the BTS action as she mimicked Ken’s choreography and at parts fell into hysterics.

In July, Mark told Vanity Fair that the hit single came together as he thought about how ‘nobody gives a s*** about buying a Ken doll’.

He added that he started to visualize the character as a ‘hapless but immediately sympathetic figure.’

In an interview with with Jimmy Fallon, Ryan said: ‘Nobody plays with Ken, man.

‘They never played with Ken. He’s an accessory and not even one of the cool ones.’

Ryan also revealed that his daughters Esmeralda, eight, and Amada, seven, prompted him to take on the role of Ken in the movie because they had disrespected their Ken dolls.

He added: ‘I walk out in the backyard and, do you know where I found Ken, Jimmy?

‘He was face down in the mud next to a squished lemon.’

Taking a picture of the scene and sending it to Greta as his acceptance, he wrote: ‘I shall be your Ken, for this story must be told.’
