This is the horrifying moment a stunt rider in a ‘globe of death’ is set on fire in front of screaming families as the act goes terribly wrong.
Two bikers can be seen performing loops inside the spherical cage with sparks emanating from their vehicles at a theme park in China.
Suddenly one of them appears to lose their grip and hits the bottom, causing a huge flame to erupt, scorching the top of the globe.
While the performer is writhing around on the floor in agony, his colleague continues buzzing about doing circuits.
One of the staff members on the floor then sprays a fire extinguisher to put a stop to it and the performer then manages to escape from the cage after being released.

The incident took place at the Happy Valley theme park in Wujinshan Forest Park in Shanxi, North China on Tuesday.
The scenes shocked members of the audience, with some calling for help, according to local media outlet Sohu News.
Jinzhong city’s culture and tourism bureau said on Wednesday that the performer sustained leg and arm injuries and was taken to hospital, without providing any more details.
Investigations are ongoing to discover the cause of the accident.

One theme park visitor that day said the performance had started at around 4pm, and many had been given complimentary entry tickets from the park as part of a promotional campaign.
‘At first I thought (the fire) was a special effect, but I realised it was a real fire when the venue was filled with the smell of smoke,’ the unnamed visitor told Jimu News, adding that the accident happened around two minutes into the act.
The ‘globe of death’ performance at the theme park had resumed on Wednesday.
