After arriving in Cannes late on Friday night, it was only a matter of time before Cheryl Cole appeared on the red carpet.
And she certainly made an entrance in a sheer, maroon dress as she arrived at the premiere of Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy Of A Plains Indian) on Saturday evening.
The former Girls Aloud star showed off her slender, tanned body in a Zuhair Murad creation as she joined A-listers Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Lawrence, Benicio Del Toro and Eva Longoria.

The floor-length gown featured a sheer overskirt with sequinned embroidery, with a low-cut back.
She teamed the dress with her hair backcombed with a loose plait and simple jewellery.
Cheryl made her red carpet entrance following a day of press interviews for L’Oreal.

She tweeted a photo of her talking to journalists, writing: ‘Talking about L’Oreal all day.. and they call this a job?? I’m a lucky girl!!’
Jimmy P tells the story about a Native American soldier and the psychoanalyst treating him.
Cheryl has been a regular at Cannes ever year since signing her first L’Oreal contract in 2009, which was rumoured to be worth £500,000.

Joining Cheryl is L’Oreal stalwart, Dutch supermodel Doutzen Kroes, who has been a global ambassador for the brand since 2006.
