One teenager is in a critical condition and five others are injured after a ute left the road and smashed into a tree.
The horror incident occurred shortly after midnight at Bayview on Sydney’s northern beaches, when emergency services were called to Cabbage Tree Road following reports of a single-vehicle crash.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated two of the car’s occupants at the scene for minor injuries.
Three others were transported to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
One male was flown to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition.
