An adorable and fluffy baby panda has taken his very first steps at a zoo in France.

Mini Yuan Zi, the first panda to be born in France, is the cub of male panda Yuan Zi and female panda Huan Huan. French first lady Brigitte Macron is his godmother.

Both aged nine, Yuan Zi and Huan Huan were given to the Beauval Zoo in Saint-Aignan by China in 2012 on a 10-year loan.

The super cute bear is seen in the video slowly moving along the floor and trying to stand up on his hind legs.

The mother panda Huan Huan gave birth to twins at Beauval Zoo, which is located south of Paris, but one of the babies died soon after birth.
