Food inspectors found dairy which had been expired for up to seven months as well as large carcasses of raw meat which was left uncovered.

‘I hope [the fine] makes it clear that you need to make sure this is not repeated … these are serious offences with potentially serious consequences for the public,’ Magistrate Bob Harrap said according to Adelaide Now.

The 34-year-old was first charged with 54 food standard breaches after a routine inspection by the council.

Inspectors alleged they found mouldy bread and mouldy dried fruit and insects in packets of flour.

Sharafat gave ‘no comment’ when Daily Mail Australia contacted him Friday evening.

‘Why you making it a big deal?’ Sharafat said.
