Brawling drivers create a traffic jam in Wales

A vicious road rage brawl was caught on video when three men were filmed punching each other while holding up traffic at a roundabout in Wales.

The violent altercation was filmed at the Pwyll-y-Pant roundabout, known locally as Cedar Tree Roundabout in Caerphilly, Wales.

Three men could be seen squaring up to each other and then punching each other next to a car and a white van with their doors flung open. 

A long queue of traffic appeared to be trapped on the road behind the fighting men.

The excited commentator, filming the incident from another vehicle, shouts: ‘We’ve got some road rage going on – it’s kicking off, it’s kicking off.

‘There’s fighting going on here, two onto one here.’

Another man on the video then says: ‘Don’t pick on him you bully’ before the first one exclaims: ‘He’s going for it, go on son!’

A third voice then says: ‘Shall we help him, let’s help him?’

The man who filmed the video, who did not want to be named, said afterwards: ‘They ended up on the floor and then it just sort of broke up.’

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A spokeswoman for Gwent Police said: ‘At around 3.10pm on Thursday we received reports of a fight between three men following a two-vehicle road traffic collision at the Cedar Tree Roundabout in Caerphilly.

‘Both vehicles left the scene shortly after the incident.

‘Officers are investigating and if anyone has any information about this please call 101 quoting log 276 16/11/17.’
