Just three weeks after they pocketed a cool $547,000 on The Block, Elyse Knowles and Josh Barker have had another VERY successful day at auction.
According to realestate.com.au, the couple’s own fixer-upper in the Melbourne suburb of Coburg sold for a staggering $1.61 million on Saturday.
Elyse, 25, and 28-year-old Josh reportedly bought the property three years ago for just $600,000 — meaning the sale has netted them a jaw-dropping profit of one million dollars.

The pair, who have dated for five years, bought and began renovating the property after being together for just one year.
‘We bought the house when I was 21, and I’d never had any experience in this so I was really relying on Josh and his knowledge,’ Elyse said in a previous interview with Domain.

Elyse added: ‘We lived in the old shack, showered outside, we cooked on the barbecue. Every wall was a different wall paper, the bathrooms were every colour under the sun – it was a very interesting time.’
They are keen to get their hands on a third renovation property soon, having set their sights on a suburb in Melbourne’s leafy east.
