Big Time Rush star Kendall Schmidt reveals he has married Mica von Turkovich and she is pregnant: ‘Thankful for my baby!’

Kendall Schmidt has married his girlfriend Mica von Turkovich and revealed that she is pregnant.

The Big Time Rush star, 33, started dating personal trainer Mica, 32, in 2015 and took to Instagram over the weekend to reveal that the pair have now tied the knot.

In one black-and-white snap, the happy couple could be sitting alongside each other on a sofa in wedding outfits as they snuggled up together. 

Not only have the couple said their vows, Kendall revealed in a video posted to the social media platform that they are expecting their first child together.

In the clip, Mica wore a white crop top as she proudly showed off her baby bump whilst posing in an outdoor setting.

The pair have been engaged since June 2022, and the time Kendall shocked Mica by popping the question where they first met at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Alongside a snap of themselves on stage, Kendall wrote on Instagram: ‘My heart and soul. I’ll love you forever’ 

Kendall shot to fame as a the lead singer of the fictional band in the Nickelodeon sitcom alongside James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega and Logan Henderson.

The show ran from 2009 until 2011 but in real life, the boys released a string of top-selling albums before splitting in 2014.

But in 2021, the gang got back together to release another record.

In 2023, they staged a comeback tour across the summer in the US.

The group initially formed in 2009 for the Nickelodeon TV show of the same title and had hits such as Boyfriend and Worldwide until their split in 2013

 At the time, Kendall told E! News: ‘We were young guys, We all became fast friends. ‘We are best friends and I just think now it was sort of like, you know what, I think we know what we’re doing.’

Schmidt told the outlet that diversity was a key in the group’s success.

‘The four of us are from very different backgrounds, very different lives, very different interests and passions and all that kind of stuff,’ . 

‘In a time in the world where it seems like things have been kind of rough, we really want to bring people together and show them four distinct individuals can come together and spread the love.’
