The songstress will honor Whitney Houston with a Bodyguard tribute marking the movie’s 25th anniversary.
Nick Jonas, Niall Horan, Demi Lovato, Imagine Dragons and Lady Gaga are also set to perform during the evening.

According to the official AMAs website, the nomination process is based on ‘key fan interactions as reflected in Billboard magazine and on Billboard.com, including album and digital song sales, radio airplay, streaming, social activity, and touring,
‘These measurements are tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound.’
The AMAs will be broadcast live on ABC at 8pm ET.
