Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Fletcher Cox is being sued by a man who claims the football star seduced his wife and ruined his marriage.

The lawsuit was filed by Joshua Jeffords, who says the Eagles star had sex with his wife in April while she was on a work trip in Pennsylvania, according to TMZ.

Jeffords claims Cox is liable for alienation of affection, and is asking for more than $25,000 in damages.

The 26-year-old player can easily afford the amount though. He made headlines in 2016 when he signed a six-year $102million contract extension with the team.

The scorned husband said in the lawsuit, filed on November 22, that he has proof in the form of text messages between Cox and his wife saying he wanted to knock her up.

The messages say ‘I want to get you pregnant,’ and ‘You ain’t gone be no damn single mom.’

He also claims that Cox sent his wife, who hasn’t been named, a photo of his penis on Snapchat.

Jeffords gave copies of those text messages to TMZ.

To claim alienation of affection in North Carolina the plaintiff must prove there was genuine love between the spouses, that the love was destroyed, and that a third party caused the alienation, TMZ reported.

Jeffords believes the text messages are enough to prove the alienation.

He says his marriage has completely crumbled in the past few months, and claims his wife blocked him on Instagram.
