Homicide detectives have launched an investigation after a woman and child were found dead in Sydney’s west after a man’s body was discovered in Baulkham Hills.
The triple fatality is believed to be linked and police suspect they may all be from the same family.
The woman and child were located at an address in North Parramatta shortly after the man’s body was found around 11am in Watkins Road in Baulkham Hills.
It’s understood a fourth person is also being quizzed by police after the man attended a hospital on Monday night with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
His relationship to the three dead and how he came to be injured is under investigation.
‘NSW Police homicide detectives are investigating following reports of three bodies located in two separate locations,’ said a police spokesman.
‘A male body was located deceased in Baulkham Hills, while two other bodies, believed to be a woman and a child, were located in North Parramatta.
‘Officers are investigating whether the two incidents are linked.
‘Multiple crime scenes have been established and are being examined by forensic officers.’
