EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Heidi Klum reveals her ‘sexy voice’ secrets for making a pop record with Snoop Dogg

Top model and television presenter Heidi Klum admits that she made a pop record despite having a poor voice, thanks to the magic of producers.

She tried to sound ‘sexy’ to detract from her vocal limitations, she explains.

Heidi, 50, recorded Chai Tea With Heidi in collaboration with American rapper Snoop Dogg and dance act WeddingCake.

It’s the theme tune to Germany’s Next Topmodel, on which she is a judge.

‘It’s so funny, because I have a really annoying voice — it’s, like, really high and super-fast,’ she says.

‘So. when I was doing this, I was, like, “OK, I’m going to get my sexy voice on”.

‘That’s what you do when you don’t have a great voice. You also need a really good producer to make you sound so much better.’

She’s not the only one, no doubt.

Church funds were once overseen by shy, soberly dressed sorts. No more.

A General Synod debate on vicars’ pensions was addressed by Paul Ronson from Blackburn, a member of the finance committee of the Archbishop’s Council.

Hair dyed shocking pink, he wore a suit to match. Just the chap for a pension fund!

Bakewell: Groping went to top of BBC

Once dubbed the ‘thinking man’s crumpet’, Joan Bakewell recalls in a forthcoming documentary on the BBC that in her younger days the Corporation had a culture of men ‘touching up’ and ‘fondling’ women virtually to the top level.

‘There were no laws, rules, sanctions or disapproval,’ says Baroness Bakewell, who presented Late Night Line-Up from the mid-1960s.

Speaking on BBC 4 programme How The BBC Began, she also remembers how Labour cabinet minister Douglas Jay made a pass at her. ‘I mean, rape was against the law, but certainly touching someone up wasn’t.

‘You know you became a bit discreet about travelling alone in the lift or a taxi because you would get fondled.

‘And a really large range of BBC people including those virtually at the top did that.’

Tindalls tingle on ice-snorkel hols

The Princess of Wales, who’s currently convalescing after she underwent ‘planned abdominal surgery’, revealed her love of outdoor swimming last year, saying: ‘The colder, the better – I absolutely love it.’

So she may be jealous of her husband’s cousin, Zara Tindall, 42, who has just been snorkelling in sub-zero temperatures during a holiday to Iceland.

‘What a place,’ says Zara’s husband, Mike Tindall, 45, who has shared some holiday snaps.

In one online video, the couple can be seen sporting woolly hats and quilted coats as they cuddle in front of snow-capped mountains.

As their trip took place during the school term, it’s thought that their three children — Mia, ten, Lena, five, and Lucas, who turns three next month — stayed at home in Gloucestershire.

Last month, the couple visited Australia for the Magic Millions horse race meeting. Princess Anne’s daughter is an ambassador for the Magic Millions equine auction house.

Comedians having to tone down their material to appease ‘woke’ critics is no laughing matter to Bill Bailey.

‘I think audiences are much more savvy because, often, this is comedy that is taken out of context,’ the former Strictly Come Dancing champion tells me.

‘The people who criticise it haven’t been to see a comedy show.

‘If you go to a show, you accept that this is not serious, these are just jokes. We’re not lecturers, politicians or teachers.

‘People who have never been to a comedy show will go, “Well, this is just outrageous”, and I’m, like, “Have you ever been to a gig?”.’

Bailey is an ambassador for the National Lottery Open Week, which will see hundreds of venues offer free entry and discounts between March 9 to 17 as a thank-you to National Lottery players for helping to raise more than £30million a week for good causes.
