A 40-year-old man has been shot in the groin in an apparent drive-by shooting in Sydney’s western suburbs overnight on Thursday.
The victim was targeted around midnight when the man is believed to have been shot from a passing vehicle on Donnelly Street in Guildford.
A burnt-out Nissan Pulsar suspected to be the getaway car was discovered nearby around 3am.
Authorities are treating this incident as a potential gangland hit with the gunman still on the loose and his victim recovering in hospital.
