Pink and her family enjoy a day out in Perth on a yacht with a very surprising Aussie celebrity

Pink can’t seem to get enough of hanging out with friend Rove McManus during the Australian leg of her Summer Carnival Tour.

The So What hitmaker, 44, was spotted enjoying a yacht ride in Perth on Thursday with the television presenter, 50, his wife Tasma Walton, and their daughter Ruby.

Husband Carey Hart and their children Jameson and Willow – who recently traded in her blonde locks for short hair like her mother – were also in attendance.

The worldwide superstar – who was recently found to be the most popular singer in Australia – kept things very lowkey as she pulled a black cap down low over her face.

A white and green Hawaiian shirt added a pop of colour to her ensemble while she chatted with Tasma, 50.

Elsewhere, Carey, 48, flaunted his numerous tattoos as he strutted around the luxury boat in a black tank top and khaki shorts.

The motocross racer appeared engrossed in conversation with Rove as their children Jameson, seven, Willow, 12, and Ruby, nine, milled about their feet.

Pink is often vocal about her love for Australia and its people, but it was recently revealed Rove has been one of her closest friends for two decades.

Rove has enjoyed a close friendship with the pop icon since the early 2000s when she frequented his titular late-night chat show.

‘We kind of hit it off, and every time she came back she was more and more famous and our show was becoming more and more popular and it just kind of meshed that a friendship blossomed,’ Rove told News.com.au on the red carpet at the AACTA Awards.

‘She’s funny, she’s witty, she’s got a huge heart, very caring and very generous of her time.’

Rove went on to say Pink’s husband Carey even ‘taught me how to ride a motorbike’, though it was a ‘rough’ learning curve for him.

The So What hitmaker has even paid personal tribute to the media personality and his wife Tasma Walton on Instagram throughout the years.

Pink shared a picture of herself posing with the couple in 2018, writing: ‘One of my all time biggest and forever gratitudes is this; my travels have brought me gems.’

In 2016, Rove revealed during his breakfast radio show he had learned about Pink’s second pregnancy, with child Jameson, months before it became public news.
