Australian Idol fans were left jumping with joy on Monday night when Denvah Baker-Moller, Amy Reeves, and Dylan Wright were announced as the 2024 grand finalists.
However, the happy news was bittersweet as a triple elimination saw Trent Richardson, Ivana Ilic, and Isaac McCallum all be sent home.
Despite failing to secure their place in the top three, Trent, 22, Ivana, 20, and Isaac, 23, put up a fight to make it into the Top 6.
The show opened with an inspiring rendition of Giant by Calvin Harris and Rag’n’Bone Man by the final six contestants before their solo performances.
But it wasn’t long before Seven hosts Ricki-Lee Coulter and Scott Tweedie announced Australia would have to say goodbye to three of their favourites.

Denvah, 23, landed in the final three with her incredible rendition of the Tina Turner classic Simply The Best, putting her unique country spin on it.
