England legend Stuart Broad was presented with his CBE by Princess Anne at Windsor Castle on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old, who retired in July as England’s second-highest wicket-taker, was named in the New Year’s honours list.
The 6ft 6in former bowler had to stoop for Princess Anne to place honour around his neck even though she was standing on a platform.
Broad was joined by fiancée and Saturdays star Mollie King and father Chris, who played Test cricket for England from 1984 to 1989.
The cricket star has had an on and off relationship with King after first dating in 2012 before splitting up – and eventually rekindling in 2018.

Broad called time on his storied career at the conclusion of the Ashes last year, signing off with a wicket with his final ball to seal victory over Australia at The Oval.
His final tally of 604 Test wickets is second only to Jimmy Anderson for England and fifth overall.
Broad also took 178 wickets in ODIs and 65 in T20I cricket, as well as scoring more than 4000 runs.
Speaking after being recognised in the the New Year’s honours list, he said: ‘All I ever wanted to do was play cricket, and to have had the career that I was able to enjoy and to receive honours like this is incredibly special.
‘I’m very proud that my contributions to cricket have been recognised, and it means a lot to me and my family.’
