And Toni Collette has returned to the European country once again, this time to film her upcoming romantic comedy flick Under The Stars.
The Australian actress, 51, who recently spent time in Paris filming her upcoming flick A French Pursuit, will star opposite Andy Garcia (Ocean’s 11), Alex Pettyfer, (Magic Mike), and Eva De Dominici (The Cleaning Lady) in the Michelle Danner-directed film.
‘Under the Stars is a fun and heartfelt romantic comedy about love, passion, and beauty with a brilliant ensemble cast featuring Toni Collette, Andy Garcia, Alex Pettyfer and Eva De Dominici,’ producer Pia Patatian said in a statement.
‘Set against the bustle of London and the serenity of Puglia, Michelle Danner is the ideal director to bring Victoria Vinuesa’s wonderful story to life.’

The film follows a struggling romance novelist who has grown tired of his loveless relationship.
Things take a twist when finds his dream girl during a trip to Italy.
Production is currently underway in Puglia, Italy and will continue in London.

Toni has spent plenty of time in Italy in recent years, having filmed her 2023 action comedy Mafia Mama in Rome.
Discussing her visit, she told Conde Naste Traveller in April last year: ‘Just being in Rome was the be all and end all. I’ve traveled to Italy many times, but being able to live in Rome and have a focus and a purpose and experience living in the city day to day—it was like a gift from the gods,’
‘Honestly, it was so much fun! It wasn’t just a highlight of my career; it was a serious highlight of my life.’

Toni was also filming Mafia Mama when news of her divorce made global headlines.
The Hereditary star announced her separation from ex-husband Dave Galafassi, 47, after 19 years of marriage back in December 2022.
