9News Queensland reports that the allegations were made to police, with officers attending the player’s residence as investigations begun.
A woman then made a formal complaint to the police about the player, who is currently contracted to a Queensland NRL club.
The latest bombshell comes ahead of the NRL’s Magic Round extravaganza in Brisbane, which will see all fixtures played in the city.
The games have sold out.
