Phil Foden broke Arsenal hearts within 77 seconds as he put Man City 1-0 ahead against West Ham on the final day.
The attacking midfielder netted a stunning goal to set Pep Guardiola’s side on their way to a fourth successive Premier League title.
Ahead of the action, City needed a win to lift the trophy, while the Gunners had to pick up three points while relying on the reigning champions to lose or draw.
However, despite high expectations and hopes at the Emirates, the mood was quickly quashed when Foden thumped in a sensational effort from outside the box in the second minute.
Several Arsenal fans were seen checking the score on their phones as news filtered through of Foden’s opener, with many looking demoralised.
