Amanda Keller breaks down live on-air as she shares family news after revealing her husband husband Harley has Parkinson’s disease

Amanda Keller became emotional on Monday’s Jonesy and Amanda show as she shared a major family announcement live on-air.

The radio star, 62, told her co-host Jonesy, 55, she had a difficult time planning her son Jack’s 21st birthday party while her husband Harley struggled with Parkinson’s disease.

‘It was a hard week for me leading up to it because I wanted to put a slide show together to play throughout the night. Normally that is Harley’s domain,’ she began.

She added she was under the impression Harley wouldn’t be able to attend the party due to his poor health, which left the planning duties all to her.

‘With the way things are with Harley at the moment, he’s got Parkinson’s and things are just hard. So that kind of skill set isn’t with him anymore.

‘Leaving the house to go to Jack’s party, I thought it’s not right Harley can’t come. I felt lonely thinking it’s our son’s 21st, how hard it is for Harley, how much he would have loved to be there,’ she added.

However, she said she got a huge surprise during the party when her husband managed to attend despite his ill health and became teary-eyed as she described the emotional moment.

‘There we are, having a great time. The speeches are about to start and my friend said to me, “There’s Harley.” I looked over, I know what it cost him to be there. He said to me, “How could I not be here?”

She added that celebrating her son’s momentous occasion in the company of her husband made it that much more special.

Keller also posted a photo to Instagram of her posing up a storm with her younger son Jack and captioned it with some heartfelt words.

‘Our youngest son Jack is 21 today. He rushed into the world – at one point I thought he’d be born in the hospital car park,’ she began.

Keller went on to pay loving tribute to her second born son and revealed she couldn’t wait to see the great things he would achieve in life.

However, she said she got a huge surprise during the party when her husband managed to attend their son Jack's (right) birthday party despite his ill health and became teary-eyed as she described the emotional moment
