Kokoda St, Darra, Brisbane fire: House, caravan and car destroyed in inferno

A caravan and a car have gone up in flames in a fire that later spread to a house.

Emergency services were called to the home on Kokoda Street in Darra, in Brisbane’s southwest at about 2am on Wednesday. 

The fire spread to a house a short time later with firefighters battling the blaze for at least half an hour before it was brought under control.

Neighbours were woken by a series of explosions, the Courier Mail reports.

No injuries have been reported. 

A crime scene has been established and an investigation has been launched. 

Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage that could assist investigations has been urged to contact police.
