So begins the spine-tingling first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War released by Disney’s Marvel Studios on Wednesday, which also managed to somehow cram that same group into a two-minute clip.
The clip sees superheroes from across the entire marvel Cinematic Universe, a decade in the making, coming together for the first time to face an unprecedented threat, in Josh Brolin’s Thanos.

A gargantuan portal gate then appears hovering over New York, activating Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) spidey-sense, before he slips into his new mechanized suit to climb on for a closer look.
Fans the get their best ever look at the intergalactic villain, as he steps through a portal into a wasteland, with the slightest smirk at the destruction before him.
