Watch as Angel Reese is left open-mouthed after WNBA press conference is interrupted by someone discussing ‘intimate relationship’: ‘What is going on?’

In an awkward moment during a post-game press conference, Chicago Sky star Angel Reese was left in disbelief as an unidentified reporter was caught on a hot mic.

As one reporter was asking about Reese breaking the double-double streak record held by Candace Parker, background noise caught an awkward conversation from someone else on the call.

Overheard was a woman’s voice asking the question, ‘[Are we] ever going to have an intimate relationship?’

A man’s voice then cuts in and says, ‘Oh god, that’s an uncomfortable topic.’

A confused Reese says, ‘Excuse me’ and then asked the reporter to repeat their question before the man’s voice cuts in clearer.

It says: ‘I never had any interest in being intimate with anyone’.

Reese then covered her mouth in shock, with coach Teresa Weatherspoon looking confused and teammate Marina Mabrey trying to explain to a staffer what was going on.

As the Zoom call muted all the microphones, Reese was seen saying ‘Oooo somebody gettin’ fired.’
