Parramatta Road, Sydney: Man’s shocking excuse after he was caught at double the speed limit

An Aussie driver told police he needed to go the toilet when he was caught at nearly double the speed limit.

The man’s white Suburu was caught by NSW Police speeding at 111kmh in the 60kmh zone on Parramatta Road at Burwood in Sydney at 11.20pm on Friday June 28.

When the NSW Police Force Traffic and Highway Patrol Command pulled the man over, the driver told them he needed to use the bathroom.

But the man’s reason wasn’t enough to convince police, who fined him $2,764 for speeding in a clearly signposted stretch of road.

The impatient driver’s licence was suspended for six months.
