Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban looked tense as they watched 14-year-old Aussie skateboarder Chloe Covell compete at the Paris Olympics on Sunday.

The couple were joined by daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13 for the exciting occasion.

Ever the proud Aussies, Keith and Nicole were wrapped up in the excitement of the event, at one point jumping to their feet to cheer for the Australian skateboarding hopeful.

The couple could be seen waving their arms in the air as they shouted encouragement.

Covell was completing in the medal round of the Women’s Street Final, but was left heartbroken when she finished out of the medals at the street skateboarding event.

The 14-year-old finished last in the medal round on Sunday at the Concorde skate park in central Paris and was in tears at one point as she fell repeatedly.

Japan’s Coco Yoshizawa won the gold medal with her total score of 272.75, beating compatriot Liz Akama’s 265.95.

The frustration at the result was clear on both Keith and Nicole’s faces, who were hoping for an Aussie victory.

He shielded his eyes from the sun with a pair of black sunglasses.

Nicole, meanwhile, wore a smart white blouse underneath a black pinstripe blazer.

She added a touch of casual to the ensemble with a plain white baseball cap and a pair of black sunglasses.

The Big Little Lies star’s strawberry blonde locks fell around her shoulders.

The pair looked as though there was no place they’d rather be, happily cheering along with the packed crowd.

At one point, Nicole checked on her daughter Faith, who was seen taking off her sunglasses and wiping her eyes.

Nicole, no stranger to extreme sports thanks to her role in BMX Bandits, also appeared to be discussing the finer points of skateboarding with Keith.
