Cyclist Woods looked to be headbutted forcing him to the Paris velodrome deck

Team GB cyclist Ollie Woods was involved in a horrific crash in the men’s madison final after appearing to be HEADBUTTED by a Dutch rival.

Woods was sent clattering across the Velodrome floor and stayed on the deck for some time, looking to be in severe pain.

Team GB slumped to 10th overall in a nightmare men’s madison final, held at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines velodrome in Paris.

Sir Chris Hoy commented on the incident, saying: ‘He whacked him on the head. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ollie was concussed by that.

‘He wouldn’t have been expecting it so his body would have been loose and relaxed.
