A laptop stolen from the home of a grieving mother while she was at a hospice saying a final goodbye to her daughter has been recovered after a nationwide appeal.
Daisy Elbrow, 15, died on November 19 after a seven-month battle with a rare cancer and her mother Natalie had gone to the hospice on November 23 to visit her daughter one last time.
But while she was out burglars broke into her home in Bournemouth, Dorset, and stole several items including a laptop Daisy had used to store hundreds of photos on.

While Natalie Elbrow was out, burglars broke into her home in Bournemouth, Dorset, and stole several items including a laptop Daisy had used to store hundreds of photos on
Mrs Elbrow made an impassioned plea for its return and the appeal went viral on social media.
A member of the public has since handed the Apple MacBook Air laptop in to police claiming that it was sold to them in suspicious circumstances.
Other items stolen including a white Xbox One, daisy Pandora earrings and a quantity of cash, remain outstanding.
The house was burgled sometime between 10.45am and 1pm last Thursday when Mrs Elbrow was at Julia’s House in Poole.
Daisy died in Poole Hospital on Sunday 19 November, five days after her 15th birthday, following a bravely-fought seven-month battle with renal cell carcinoma.
Doctors discovered the main tumour was in her kidney but it had also affected her spine and lungs and spread to her liver and lymph nodes.
Mrs Elbrow, 47, said: ‘Daisy was a real fighter. She fought that cancer to the very end and was so brave.
‘She spent more time in hospital than out and that laptop meant everything to her.
‘She was so weak that she was forced to spend most days in bed and it gave her a portal to the outside world. It had all her things on it and all her photos. It meant so much to Daisy.’
Two people have now been charged in connection with the break-in.
Caleb Warren, 32, FROM Poole, has been charged with burglary and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court today.
A 36-year-old woman from Bournemouth has been charged with handling stolen goods and is due to appear in court in January.

Detective Sergeant Adam Woolman, of Bournemouth CID, said: ‘We are thrilled that Natalie has now been reunited with her daughter’s MacBook and we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who shared the appeal and to the member of the public who handed it in.
‘We have had a wonderful response from the community including lots of offers of rewards and replacements.
‘We still want to trace the Xbox and earrings. If you have any further information regarding these items or anything else that could assist with our investigation, please contact Dorset Police.’
