A major 1980s music star has been spotted at Sydney airport, looking impossibly youthful even at 66 years old.
Belinda Carlisle turned heads on Saturday as the Heaven Is A Place On Earth hitmaker strode through the arrivals terminal dressed in head-to-toe black.
Carlisle, who gained fame as the lead vocalist of the Go-Go’s, paired dark trousers with a black sweater and flat-soled shoes.
She wore her straight, strawberry blonde tresses loose and cascading across her shoulders.
The Our Lips Are Sealed songstress accessorised with gold hoop earrings, several heavy bracelets and a large, leopard print handbag.
Carlisle’s The Decades Australian tour begins in Perth on Wednesday, with stops in NSW, Victoria and Queensland also planned.
Her tour concludes on October 6 in Brisbane.
The sighting comes after Carlisle opened up about being an ‘older singer’.

In an interview with People last year, Belinda spoke about facing ageism in the music industry.
‘I’m an older singer now and I have to really do a lot of prep,’ she explained ahead of her US summer leg of her Decades tour. ‘It used to be that I took my voice for granted and I don’t at all anymore.’
‘I’m just really lucky that I’m still out there doing it, but I have to take care,’ she continued.
‘I mean, when I’m on the road, I travel with three humidifiers, and I have all these rituals that I do just to keep my voice healthy when I’m working,’ she added.

For over two decades, the Grammy nominee has been traveling the world with her husband, Morgan Mason.
She explained that her experience with facing ageism in the music industry influenced her decision in taking a break from her career.
‘I was dropped by my record company when I turned 40 and singing was the only thing I really knew how to do,’ she explained.
‘Of course I was mortified and panicking,’ she recalled. ‘But then I thought, “Well, who am I?” It began like the most interesting part of my life — I’d always been defined by what I do, so I knew that there was more to that.’
‘What I thought at first was a disaster ended up being a huge gift,’ she said about the journey.
A few months earlier, Carlisle returned to pop music and released her new EP titled Kismet — which is a critically-acclaimed, five-song collaboration with award-winning songwriter Diane Warren — on May 12.
