Daniel Dubois believes Anthony Joshua is ‘ripe for the taking’ in their British bonanza fight at Wembley Stadium this Saturday night

As a 27-year-old defending his world title against a 34-year-old compatriot attempting to come back and join the elite club of three time heavyweight champion, Dubois says: ‘if there were critics I’ve redeemed myself. Especially against Filip Hrgovic.’

That was the victory which brought his elevation to IBF champion after unified king Oleksandr Usyk relinquished that belt in order to take his enriching multi-titles rematch against Tyson Fury in Christmas week in Riyadh.

Dubois adds: ‘I’m matured and on the rise now. The momentum is with me.’

Upon hearing that Joshua, who will be a heavy betting favourite, smiled and mused: ‘My punch delivery is much better now.’
