Influencer Jadé Tuncdoruk admits she was ‘really high’ during the birth of her first child

Jadé Tuncdoruk has shared the hilarious story of how she got ‘really high’ while giving birth to her first child in June.

The influencer, 29, who earlier this year welcomed her son Fletcher with husband Lachie Brycki, discussed the amusing story on the KICBUMP podcast.

She said she became lightheaded during childbirth after she began inhaling pain relief nitrous oxide, commonly referred to as ‘happy gas’.

‘I was sucking in the gas and air and this wave came over me. I was like, “Oh, this is way better than I was anticipating”,’ she began.

Jadé added she realised she was under the effects of the gas while giving birth, which became a surreal experience.

‘I realised I was high. As I was sucking in the gas, I kept looking around the room and I was like, “I’m high”. It really whacks you out.

‘I’m like high, anxious and in labour, such a weirdo combination. I felt really vulnerable.’

It comes after Jadé opened up on the ‘difficult’ reality of parenting after welcoming her first child.

The social media star and her personal trainer husband have been adjusting to their life as new parents.

Last month, the couple opened up about their first eight weeks with their son, with Jadé admitting it has been the hardest thing she has ever done.

Speaking on Nova’s Mad About You podcast, Jadé said she wishes somebody had warned her how difficult it was going to be in the first few weeks.

‘I’m sure not everyone feels the way that I do about how hard it’s been in the beginning,’ she admitted.

‘I think most people kind of struggle in the beginning, especially when it’s their first, It’s so foreign, it’s so intense and you just can’t imagine it.

‘But now I’m here, and I feel like nobody told me how hard it was going to be, everyone kind of said, yeah, it’s an adjustment, and it’s difficult, but now I’m finding myself saying those things too!’

Jadé admitted that the difficulties of being a new mother is ‘incomparable’ to anything else she has been through in life as she openly spoke about her experience.
