Arch Manning ran FASTER than Tyreek Hill has so far this season during unbelievable touchdown for Texas

  • Arch Manning showcased his unbelievable speed last weekend
  • The Texas QB impressed after an injury to starter Quinn Ewers

Arch Manning broke off a hugely impressive 67-yard touchdown over the weekend for Texas, and his top speed during the run is hard to believe.

Manning evaded several defenders with the highlight play as he gave the Longhorns a 28-7 lead.

And according to Reel Analytics, Manning reached a ridiculous top speed of 20.7 mph during the sprint – which is even faster than Miami Dolphins’ speedster Tyreek Hill has gone this year.

Hill traveled at a blistering 20.27mph during his 80-yard touchdown in Week 1 vs. the Jaguars, though that was only the ninth-fastest time of the week according to NFL’s Next Gen Stats.

Nico Collins took the top spot as he hit 21.89mph during a 55-yard touchdown.

Regardless of the specific statistics, Manning’s sprint was notable because of the lineage he comes from.

His uncles, Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, are both highly-accomplished NFL quarterbacks – but they were always among the least mobile players in the league at their position (His grandfather is also former Saints star Archie Manning).

It seems that Arch, though, has a more athletic profile than Peyton and Eli as he attempts follow in their footsteps.

Manning, a second-year quarterback for Texas, began this season as a backup behind Quinn Ewers.

But he was thrust into action on Saturday when the starter strained his abdomen – with the timetable for his return currently considered ‘week-to-week,’ according to ESPN.

Manning took his chance to impress, passing for 223 yards and four touchdowns in addition to his touchdown run.

And with the descendant of NFL royalty likely to start again this weekend vs. Lousiana-Monroe, fans could be treated to another show of him impressive speed.
