Aussie DJs sell massive Gold Coast mansion for an eye-watering $5.77million

A luxury Queensland mansion owned by renowned DJs Will Sparks and New World Sound brothers, Tyrone and Jesse Taylor has been sold for a whopping $5,775,000.

The trio of Australian music gurus first listed the sprawling five-bedroom, four-bathroom Gold Coast home in April without a price guide.

Located in upscale Broadbeach Waters, the 728 square metre pad was built by the Taylor brothers through their company Unique Built, according to Domain.

The musical mates first purchased a waterfront dwelling on the site for a mere $2million in 2022.

They then knocked down the original home to construct a multi-level spread they later dubbed The Arch.

Fusing Japanese and Mediterranean-inspired architecture, the splendid home is an elegant ultra modern pad with over-scaled living spaces.

Features include an internal courtyard, a private cocktail bar and magnesium pool which maintain a resort style atmosphere.

There’s also an al fresco entertainment space with fire pit and waterside views.

Other highlights include a cellar, a private home office, a media room and a gourmet kitchen with butler’s pantry.

It comes after Tyrone Taylor spoke about the listing to realestate.com.au about the property in April.

‘We’ve been friends with Will since we toured with him when Avicii came to Australia in 2014,’ he said.

‘With “Arch”, we thought why don’t we build our own house – the three of us – while we’re still young, and make it a really special house here on the coast.

‘We really wanted to just create a good all-rounder that has absolutely everything in it you could want. We wanted to create the coolest house that we could.’

Arch isn’t the only home the Taylor brothers built in their iconic resort-style, with celebrity Block buyer Adrian Portelli snapping up one of their properties in 2022.

He ‘gave away’ the $2.3million two-storey Sanctuary Cove mansion as a raffle prize the following year through his promotions company LMCT+.

Named Asylo – the Greek word for sanctuary – the opulent property included a six-metre palm centrepiece built inside the main structure and an expansive pool area.

Meanwhile, DJ Will, 31, and girlfriend Brooklyn Clancy put their lavish $2.35million Paddington home in Brisbane up for rent in 2020.

Records show that the couple purchased the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home, called Onyx, for $2.35million in 2019, before they listed it to rent at $2,200 a week.
