Trouble in paradise? Candice and David Warner appear to have a tense conversation as they film a project in Sydney

Candice and David Warner appeared to be having a tense conversation while filming a secret project at Indian restaurant Spiced in Barangaroo, Sydney on Thursday.

The pair sat across from each other surrounded by cameras and production crew who were capturing the seemingly frosty exchange.

Candice, 39, dressed elegantly in a simple yet chic black sleeveless top paired with stylish sunglasses, looked focused as she engaged in the discussion.

Her long hair was sleek and straight to complete her polished look.

David, 37, kept it casual and relaxed in a crisp white T-shirt and light-coloured shorts.

Onlookers around them watched on with curiosity, wondering if this was all part of the project or a glimpse into some real-life tension between the couple.

Candice told Daily Mail Australia the pair were not arguing, but had just had a very long day.

‘Dave was on a shoot, but definitely not fighting. I’m assuming the pics they have taken might have looked that way,’ she said.

Candice and her husband David are in Sydney after taking taking a family trip overseas in July.

The couple’s three daughters – Ivy, nine, Indi, seven, and Isla, five – started their school holidays off with a bang as they headed off on a luxury getaway.

The family of five were also seen living in the lap of luxury after spending six years building their dream home.

The couple snapped up the mansion in Maroubra in 2015 for $3.9million, and after spending over $4.2 million on renovations, finally moved there in 2022.

The Warner family knocked down the existing house for a complete rebuild – and the end results are nothing short of stunning.

The ocean-view property boasts an incredible seven floors and features a ‘bat cave’ to house David’s sporting memorabilia and huge bat collection, a private beach and epic clifftop views.

‘[David and Candice] stay at the finest hotels in the world and were keen to evoke that same sense of luxury and sophistication here,’ Interior designer Alexandra Kidd told The Australian.
