Dita Von Teese, 51, is the perfect advert for her lingerie collection as youthful burlesque icon models racy underwear by the pool

Dita Von Teese stunned in lingerie from her new collection as she lounged around a pool in photos shared on Thursday.

The Queen Of Burlesque, 51, stunned in black lingerie and garters in the first image, with a martini in hand.

She showed off her legs in sheer black stockings for the next snap, stunning in nude lingerie and posing on a bespoke wooden bench. 

In another snap, she wore a green set and carried a green oil-paper umbrella. She donned dark pink lingerie and sunglasses in a fourth photo and lounged across a pink outdoor sofa. 

Her final outfit was a lacy turquoise number which she complemented with a fan and again modelled on a matching sofa.

Credited with re-popularising burlesque, Dita, born Heather Renée Sweet, is an American vedette and businesswoman. 

A vedette is the main female artist of a show derived from cabaret and its subcategories of revue, vaudeville, music hall or burlesque. 

Dita has her own clothing line – Dita Von Teese Lingerie – and has appeared on numerous reality television shows. 

She regularly drops new items for her site, with the last collection releasing in April. 

In June, Dita went topless in a bejewelled thong when she performed a racy striptease during Mabille’s Paris Fashion Week presentation.

In a typically sultry performance, attendees watched with delight as Dita popped out from a giant sparkling cocktail glass. 

Before lifting up a giant strawberry in her act, she slipped off her bra and flaunted sparkling nipple pasties.

The Michigan-born star dazzled on the star-studded catwalk show, rocking diamante jewellery which included two chunky bracelets, a glamorous choker, and sexy thigh garters.

Also in June, Dita revealed the secret to her age-defying visage – and it’s simply sleeping on her back.

She joked on Bunnie XO’s podcast Dumb Blonde: ‘I know where one of my wrinkles came from – sleeping on my face on my pillow.’

Dita was the first wife of heavy metal artist Marilyn Manson and appeared in several of his music videos. 

As well as her lingerie venture, Dita has released perfumes and has been the face of alcohol brand Cointreau and water brand Perrier.
