Married At First Sight couple Melissa Rawson and Bryce Ruthven celebrate milestone anniversary – after revealing ‘vile messages’ they still get from online trolls

Melissa Rawson has celebrated the anniversary of the day she and now real-life partner Bryce Ruthven met on Married At First Sight.

The couple, who met at their ‘wedding’ in 2020 on season eight of the series, fell in love and went on to marry and start a family in real life.

In a post shared to Instagram, Melissa showed off the flowers and wine she had been gifted and explained it has been four years since she met her true love.

‘POV: When you both completely and utterly forget that yesterday four years ago you got ‘married’ on national TV and met for the first time,’ she captioned a clip.

‘Four years later, you’re still together, married with twins and a big life change under way.’

It comes after Melissa shared a heartbreaking clip to social media, revealing she took down a recent family happy snap due to relentless trolling.

The reality star, 35, who shares twin sons with husband Bryce, posted a confronting clip to Instagram.

‘You will have noticed I have removed a video because of all the trolling. People say I don’t care about my children and that sort of stuff,’ Melissa tearfully began.

As an active mommy blogger, Melissa frequently posts relatable and hilarious content about the challenges of raising her two-year-old twin sons Levi and Tate.

However, some of her posts have been criticised by online trolls, who are not fans of the down-to-earth approach she takes to posting.

Melissa added she was forced to delete a post after hateful trolls not only criticised its content, but were also rude to the people who supported her.

‘They were trolling people that followed me, so I removed it because no one deserves that,’ she said.

She added she would now limit the amount of mommy blogging she did as a way of getting the trolls to leave her followers alone.

‘I won’t share much content with the twins any further, no one needs to be attacked for supporting me. I can’t stand people who send vile messages.’

Melissa then shared a clip of her peacefully reading a book in bed and captioned it with some defiant words.

‘Me existing knowing I’m trolled frequently, threatened occasionally but supported immensely,’ she wrote.

Many of Melissa’s followers quickly took to the comment section to offer her their words of support.

‘You’re an amazing person,’ wrote MAFS co-star Belinda Vickers, as another person added: ‘Don’t let those keyboard warriors get you down!’

Melissa and Bryce welcomed their twin boys in October 2021.

They announced their baby news back in July that year and also revealed they were engaged to be married, before walking down the aisle last year.

Bryce and Melissa appeared on the 2020 season of Married at First Sight and fell in love in front of the cameras.
