With 46 days until Election Day, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are still in a dead heat in the presidential election.
Polling in Georgia – a battleground that could decide the election – shows the Republican nominee leading.
FiveThirtyEight’s poll tracker has him one point up while Real Clear Politics has him 1.7 points in the lead. Yet forecasters still have her projected to win the state, helping her path to victory on what will be a nail-biting night.
Meanwhile, a new DailyMail.com poll has found voters believe Harris is responsible for some of the disastrous policies seen under Biden – including rising inflation, the border crisis, and the botched Afghanistan withdrawal.

Majority of voters think Kamala Harris is responsible for the border crisis, higher levels of inflation, and Afghanistan exit
Her own campaign has tried to link her to controlling drug prices and economic growth.
Both efforts seem to be working, according to a J.L. Partners/DailyMail.com which found high proportions of voters blamed her or credited her for a slew of policies implemented during her time as Joe Biden’s vice president.
In particular, 60 percent of likely voters said was very or somewhat responsible for the record number of crossings at the southern border.
The Trump campaign sees that as a winning issue.
Influential voter group says it ‘can’t’ endorse Kamala Harris in blow to Democrats in critical swing state
The Uncommitted National Movement said Thursday that the group would not formally endorse Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign, which could impact her chances in the key state of Michigan.
In a lengthy statement, leaders made clear they didn’t support former President Donald Trump and didn’t want followers of the movement to vote third-party.
‘[E]specially as third party votes in key swing states could help inadvertently deliver a Trump presidency given our country’s broken electoral college system,’ the statement said.

Kamala Harris tells Oprah: ‘If someone breaks into my house they are getting shot’
Kamala Harris reaffirmed that she’s a gun owner and will fire away if anyone tries to sneak into her house.
‘If somebody breaks into my house, they’re getting shot,’ she said, before showing off her trademark cackle.
She then expressed regret, similar to how her boss Joe Biden would try to take back foolish statements: ‘I probably should not have said that. My staff will deal with that later.’
The statement made headlines on social media, including an immediately condemnation from the National Rifle Association, who accused her of being a ‘walking contradiction’.
Olivia Nuzzi on leave from New York magazine after alleged affair with RFK Jr
A star political reporter for New York magazine has been placed on leave following an alleged affair with Robert F. Kennedy Jr, that began when she visited his $7 million aliforniahome to write a feature article.
Washington correspondent Olivia Nuzzi admitted that ‘the nature of some communication between myself and a former reporting subject turned personal’, in a statement to DailyMail.com.
She also claimed the relationship was never physical.
Her editors confirmed that the other party was a ‘former subject relevant to the 2024 campaign’. Status reports that the affair was with the former presidential hopeful, who is married to actress Cheryl Hines.
RFK Jr., 70, has insisted he only met the political journalist once when she did a profile on him last year.
‘Mr. Kennedy only met Olivia Nuzzi once in his life for an interview she requested, which yielded a hit piece,’ his spokesman told CNN. A source added that the nature of the relationship was ’emotional and digital in nature, not physical’.
