Lleyton Hewitt’s teenage son Cruz has stunned his social media fans after they noticed a jaw-dropping detail in one of his photos.
The budding tennis star, 15, shared two photos to Instagram on Friday which captured him posing with Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz in two different snaps.
The first one showed him as a smiling 12-year-old posing with the much taller Alcaraz at the 2021 Australian Open.
The next snap captured the pair beaming together at a recent sporting event – and Cruz’s huge growth spurt was immediately obvious.
In the newer photo the teenager clearly held a height advantage over the 183cm Spanish tennis player.
The two photos capture just how fast Cruz is growing, as the teenager attempts to follow in his father’s footsteps by launching his own tennis career.
Many of Cruz’s followers quickly took to the comment section to share their amazement over his incredible transformation.
‘How is bro that tall?’ one shocked follower asked and a second person added: ‘You are getting big.’

Cruz was born in December 2008 to Australian former world tennis champion Lleyton Hewitt, 43, and his model wife Bec Cartwright, 41.
In May, Cruz was selected to make his debut for Australia in the Junior Davis Cup, following in the team tennis footsteps of his illustrious dad Lleyton.
Hewitt senior is the captain of the senior Davis Cup squad in the ‘World Cup of tennis’ event that has long been one of the favourite parts of his sporting life.
The man who won the Cup twice as a player will be proud his talented son is now carrying on the tradition.
Lleyton and Bec met on the tennis court for a charity game at the Starlight Cup back in 1999.

The couple didn’t reconnect until a few years later and finally met up in person in 2005, before getting engaged after a whirlwind romance that lasted six weeks.
Grand slam champion Lleyton married actress Bec 18 years ago in a romantic ceremony at the Sydney Opera House.
As well as Cruz, they also share two daughters, Mia, 18, and Ava, 12.
