Emergency services raced to the scene on Marrickville Road in Marrickville in Sydney’s inner-west about 7.40pm on Monday following reports of a stabbing.

Other distressed relatives of the victim arrived at the scene and were heard wailing as police began scouring the scene with flashlights in hand and spoke to nearby shopkeepers.
