Simon Cowell FORGETS the name of his new band’s single

Simon Cowell chose to introduce his new American boy band Pretty Much to the UK on Saturday night’s live X Factor final by inviting them to perform on stage.

But the music mogul could barely muster up enough enthusiasm for them himself as he appeared to forget the name of their debut single while introducing them.

‘Here they are, with their new single called…’ he said, before panic swept over his expression and he seemingly blanked on the name of it.

‘I’ll let you find out when you hear it!’ Simon Cowell FORGETS the name of his new band Petty Much’s single… and tries to cover up the cringeworthy gaffe

The final kicked off on Saturday evening, with one of Dermot O’Leary’s trademark dance routines and a stirring rendition of You’ve Got The Love from Pete Tong and the Heritage Orchestra and Becky Hill.

Finalists Grace Davies, Kevin Davy White and Rak-Su joined in before they each went on to perform a solo of their own to kick off the show.

But viewers were left confused as some of them remembered Becky from the 2012 season of The Voice and mistook her for an extra contestant.

Meanwhile, others weren’t sure who she was at all.

Kevin performed Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin, while Grace sang Live And Let Die by Gins N Roses.

I think you’ve made a difference this year, along with Rak-Su, coming on with your own material. People will come on in years to come and say “if they can do it, I can do it”,’ Simon Cowell told Grace, of her songwriting skills.

Rak-Su sang their own track Mamacita, which led to a riotous sweep of applause from the audience.
