Olivia Nuzzi was initially repulsed by Robert F Kennedy Jr. after he tried to grab her hand in an interview before he managed to win her over and the two had ‘incredible’ FaceTime sex, sources claim.
The explosive details were reported by Page Six as the fallout from their relationship continues.
Friends told the outlet Six that Nuzzi, 31, disclosed they had enjoyed steamy FaceTime sessions, with the journalist impressed by 70-year-old RFK Jr.’s ‘sexual stamina’.
The pair have acknowledged that they first met while Nuzzi was profiling the wannabe politician for New York magazine.
Nuzzi, who has since been put on leave, admitted that communications between the two ‘turned personal’, but denied things were ever physical.

However sources have disputed her narrative.
‘Olivia told multiple people that they told each other they loved each other [over the phone] every time they talked,’ an insider added.
Their relationship began when Nuzzi met the married Kennedy scion at his Brentwood home and the two went hiking as part of the profile.
Multiple sources said that RFK Jr. made an attempt to grab Nuzzi’s arm or hold her hand, which disgusted her and prompted her to bring up her then-fiancé Ryan Lizza.
Nuzzi later reportedly recounted details of the hand-holding gesture to a colleague, who claimed she had experienced similar with RFK Jr and deemed it ‘creepy’, the New York Post reports.
But the former presidential candidate reportedly later explained his actions by stating he wanted to tell Nuzzi something but wasn’t sure how freely he could speak.
And in the weeks following the initial interview, RFK Jr. is said to have ‘love-bombed’ Nuzzi.
‘He’s done it to lots of women — claimed he can’t live without them. He told Olivia they’d be together after the election,’ a source said.
Nuzzi was engaged at the time to Politico reporter Ryan Lizza (pictured together) and reportedly rebuffed the alleged advance, however her attitude is said to have thawed as she continued to communicate with RFK Jr.
Nuzzi is said to have then become ‘infatuated’ with the former presidential hopeful, with those close to her reportedly noting a change in her demeanor while they were in contact.
Her former fiancé, Politico journalist Lizza, is understood to have found out about the relationship in August.
Lizza and Nuzzi began became engaged in 2022, but have since called it over the alleged sexting scandal.
He and RFK Jr. reportedly had a ‘heated’ call about the alleged affair, Vanity Fair reports.
RFK Jr.’s team has painted Nuzzi as the instigator and is even said to be pursuing a lawsuit against her.
Mutual friend Jessica Reed Kraus told the New York Post that Nuzzi was ‘bombarding’ the ex-presidential hopeful with nude photographs and that RFK Jr. tried several times to block her number.
Kraus claims that Nuzzi begged RFK Jr. to unblock her to discuss the piece, only to then send a flurry of racy pictures.
Security expert Gavin de Becker, who was hired by RFK Jr. to investigate, also said the wannabe politician was being ‘chased by porn’.

‘This had nothing to do with romance,’ de Becker said. Kraus added that a civil or criminal lawsuit is forthcoming.
A source told the NYP that Nuzzi was ‘the aggressor’ but, ‘both parties were aware of how high-pressure and high-risk the circumstances were and for that reason, their communication was very on and off.’
Nuzzi has since been placed on leave from New York magazine pending an investigation, although the outlet said it had not uncovered any bias in her reporting so far.
At the time the story broken, Nuzzi released a statement acknowledging the relationship.
‘Earlier this year, the nature of some communication between myself and a former reporting subject turned personal,’ she said.
‘During that time, I did not directly report on the subject nor use them as a source. The relationship was never physical but should have been disclosed to prevent the appearance of a conflict.

‘Mr. Kennedy only met Olivia Nuzzi once in his life for an interview she requested, which yielded a hit piece,’ RFK Jr’s spokesman said.
A source added that the nature of the relationship was ’emotional and digital in nature, not physical’.
