Brisbane Lions star Lachie Neale and his wife Jules celebrate another HUGE milestone after Grand Final win

AFL star Lachie Neale and his wife Jules have celebrated another exciting milestone following his team the Brisbane Lion’s win at the Grand Final on Saturday.

The couple, who are currently expecting their second child together, are celebrating their daughter Piper Rose’s third birthday.

Jules shared a sweet photo of their baby girl to Instagram on Monday as she opened her gifts.

‘THREE ✨ happy birthday my girl! Watching you grow is a dream come true x,’ she captioned the image.

Lachie met Jules when they were just teenagers, but they didn’t start dating until around six years later.

The couple went on to tie the knot in a romantic Perth ceremony in November 2018, before they relocated to Brisbane when Lachie made his move to the Lions.

Jules works as a hairstylist in Brisbane’s Soja Studios after selling her business in Perth to move across the country to support Lachie’s AFL career.

She boasts more than 1,250 followers on her hairstyling Instagram account, while she has 21,000 more followers on her personal Instagram page.

Jules frequently gives an insight into her relationship with Lachie and their family life on their page, with the pair looking as loved-up as ever.

The couple welcomed Piper Rose in September 2021, and have spoken openly about their struggles to conceive their beloved daughter.

Jules is seen by her husband’s side both on and off the pitch, and often graces the red carpet with him, showing off her glamorous sense of style.

Every year, she attends the Brownlow Medal with her husband and never fails to disappoint with her high-glamour and show-stopping outfits on the night.

The Brownlow Medal recognises the fairest and best player in AFL during the home-and-away season, with Lachie taking home the award in both 2020 and 2023.

He became just the 16th player in VFL/AFL history to win the prestigious award multiple times, with his wife Julie proudly standing by his side after his win.

It comes after The Brisbane Lions rebounded from last year’s grand final heartbreak in stunning fashion on Saturday, belting Sydney by 60 points to claim their first AFL premiership in more than two decades.

Lachie (33 disposals) and Norm Smith Medal winner Will Ashcroft (30) starred in the 18.12 (120) to 9.6 (60) win at the MCG, which completes the Lions’ long climb to the summit under Chris Fagan.
