Channel Seven newsreader Mark Ferguson has listed his sprawling country mansion for sale for a whopping $8.5million.
Located in the small country town of Crookwell in the New South Wales Southern Tablelands, the property was purchased by Mark and wife Jayne back in 2014 for $1.4million, the Daily Telegraph reported.
The couple have now listed the property, known as Hazeldean, on the market with a price guide of around $8.5 million.
The four-bedroom home sits on an expansive 1,921 acres that is also a working sheep and cattle station.
According to the listing, the property can hold 3000 Merino sheep and around 150 cows.
In the ten years the family have lived at the property, it has undergone extensive renovations.
‘The homestead has been fully renovated and retained for use by the vendor, with management living locally and not requiring accommodation,’ listing agent Col Medway said.
‘However it will pass any inspection for buyers wishing to reside at the property full time.’

The sale comes after Mark’s future at Channel Seven was decided in September after it was announced he would co-anchor Sydney’s 7News with Angela Cox.
Mark was widely speculated to be facing the shaft amid an ongoing staffing bloodbath at the network – but he has made the cut.
‘I’m really looking forward to it. Ange will add so much extra to the bulletin each night – more experience, more energy and it will allow us to be much more versatile when that big stories break,’ Ferguson said in a statement.

There was earlier speculation that Mark was set to be punted as the weekday night newsreader at Channel Seven amid several high-profile resignations at the embattled network.
Insiders earlier suggested that the news anchor, 58, may be replaced by the network’s weekend team, Michael Usher and Cox.
The Daily Telegraph had reported that Seven’s news bosses have ‘warmed to’ the idea of replacing the newsreader with a duo.
Sources claimed the weekend news team have been in training since 2021 to take over the weeknight bulletin.
