Man dies in workplace incident at Clye, western Sydney

A man has died following a workplace accident in western Sydney.

The 55-year-old was killed after plaster collapsed and struck him at the site on Kendall Street in Clyde shortly before 8am on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called to the scene where paramedics attempted to save the man’s life.

The 55-year-old died despite their desperate efforts. 

NSW Police have set up a crime scene and a report made to SafeWork NSW.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
