V8 Supercars star and his partner claim they had a close encounter with a GHOST in a very unexpected place

  • Supposedly unfolded at a Melbourne apartment in 2014
  • His wife Tahan Lew-Fatt also claims she saw apparition

Aussie V8 Supercars star David Reynolds has raised eyebrows after claiming he and his glamorous partner had a close encounter with a ghost at a Melbourne apartment swimming pool.

Reynolds, who won the Bathurst 1000 in 2017 with co-driver Luke Youlden, was living with his partner Tahan Lew-Fatt in St Kilda a decade ago when the supernatural incident allegedly occurred.

The 39-year-old recalled he was swimming laps in the complex’s pool when he felt something ‘brush past’ him.

Reynolds is adamant he then saw kicking feet – but was the only person in the water.

‘They weren’t solid feet,’ Reynolds told News Corp. ‘They were transparent.

‘It is difficult to describe, but they were not the feet of any living person.’

Startled, Reynolds quickly left the pool.

He didn’t tell his now wife – former Big Brother star and Miss Universe contestant Lew-Fatt – what unfolded, fearing she would dismiss his left-field claim.

But the next day the one-time grid girl claims she had her own close encounter – this time in the spa, next to the pool.

Terrified, she quickly returned to their room, adamant she had also seen the ghost.

Reynolds then began delving into the supernatural, and remains fascinated by his claimed experience.

A father of two, Reynolds won the 2004 Australian Formula Ford Championship and 2007 Porsche Carrera Cup crown before his Supercars debut the same year.

He also follows a strict organic diet, and often tells his wife ‘why would you eat an apple that’s been sprayed with Mortein.’
